Joining a Club or Society

All of our clubs & societies are run by students for students and there are over 20 clubs & societies you can take part in.

 

Most clubs & societies are free to access and take place on campus giving you lots of opportunities to try new things and meet other students with similar interests. NUA Students can join clubs & societies at any point in the year and a full list of clubs & societies can be found here.

Subscription Fees

Some clubs & societies charge a small subscription fee to help cover costs of their activities. All subscription fees are payable electronically via the Native. To access the links to register click on the button below:

Starting a New Club or Society

If you have an idea for a new club or society please download and complete the application pack opposite.

Becoming a Club & Society Officer

All of our Clubs & Societies are run by voluntary student Officers. They play a critical role in developing the student community by engaging students in a diverse range of events and activities. Full support and training is provided to Officers by the Students' Union and a role profile can be found opposite. Some of our societies are currently looking for second or third officers - please contact the society you are interested in directly and then complete the New Society Officer Form on the right.

Funding for Clubs & Societies

The Students' Union can help to fund activities and events hosted by approved Clubs & Societies. Funding must be applied for in advance and is reviewed on a case by case basis. Applications can be made by downloading the form opposite and emailing studentsunion@norwichuni.ac.uk
