Chapelfield Gardens - NR2 1NY

Beautiful gardens in the middle of the city with a bandstand, sculpture, a café, a children’s play park and some very spectacular trees. Perfect for a relaxed lunch time.

Eaton Park - NR4 7AZ

A big, spacious, historical park with a skate area, bandstand, pavilion, café, putting green, rose garden and boat pond all ready and waiting to be used. Check it out!

Earlham Park – NR4 7TQ

On the outskirts of Norwich, Earlham Park resides next to the University of East Anglia (UEA) Campus. The park is filled with beautiful trees and open grassy space. Next to a river, it has a lake and various nature walks. Easily accessible by various bus routes or car.

Marriot’s Way

Marriot’s Way is a long-distance walk and cycle path. Starting in the middle of the city, it follows the river for a while, continuing for 26 miles! Make a day of it, or walk the beginning to get a taste. More info on the website.

Mousehold Heath – NR1 4HW

Mousehold Heath is a local area of heathland situated half an hour’s walk from the city centre. Designated a nature reserve, it’s an incredible place to take a walk, have a picnic and admire the views.
