Tuesday 17th September

Freshers Fair (10am-2pm @ Duke Street Foyer)

Come and meet a whole host of local businesses and organisations who want to welcome you to Norwich and help make your student experience great! From local eateries, entertainment venues, support services and fitness venues - there will be something for everyone to enjoy! Keep an eye out for plenty of freebies and offers too at their fantastic stands.

Wednesday 18th September

Meet & Eat (12pm-2pm, Meet @ SU Lounge)

Partying not your thing but keen to meet new people? Are you interested in yoga & wellbeing? Do you want to explore some local green spaces? If this sounds like your cup of tea then come along to this meet up hosted by the Yoga & Wellbeing Society! You can meet other like-minded students who are new or previous to the Society, chat and chill whilst having a wholesome lunch in a local park or garden. Take time out of your busy schedules to slow down and enjoy student life and if you can please bring a yummy snack to share with the group. Good food, good people, good times - what more could you want? 

Thursday 19th September

Pizza Party (12:30pm-13:30pm @ SU Lounge)

We love pizza and know you do too! Come along to the Students' Union Lounge and enjoy lunch on us whilst also meeting other NUA students. All dietary needs will be accommodated and you can even stay and play some ping-pong and table-top games too with your new friends. 

Tuesday 24th September

Ghost Tour (7:00pm - Meet @ Adam & Eve Pub, Bishopgate)

See the spooky side of Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle, Elm Hill, Tombland and more. The Shadowcaster will take you on a journey through the most haunted areas of the city. Hear tales of the many lost spirits and poltergeists who are still seen, and heard, to this day! Join this public walk - it is scary fun for everyone.......

Wristband Holders can attend for FREE, non-wristband holders pay £6 entry with an NUA Student ID card or £8 entry without ID.

Wednesday 25th September

Clubs & Societies Fair (10am-2pm @ Duke Street Foyer)

Come and explore over 30 clubs & societies that you can get involved in throughout the year; whatever your hobbies and interests, there is something for everyone! From creative societies to sports clubs and liberation groups you can find other students that love the same things as you! So whether you are an expert with knowledge to share or wanting to try something completely new - this is the place to find out more! 

Wednesday 25th September

Poster Sale (10am-4pm @ Lecture Theatre Foyer)

Pyramid Posters are on campus all day showcasing their HUGE range of posters and accessories that you can buy to jazz up your student accommodation. They have lots of promotional offers to suit all budgets and will be accepting cash and card payments too. There are so many themes to explore here - TV, film, travel, anime and much much more! 

Wednesday 25th September

The Big Film Quiz (7pm-9pm @ Duke Street Foyer)

Whether you are into cult classics, blockbusters, indie films or animations you can put your knowledge to the test at our big quiz night! Hosted by our fantastic quiz master, Brendo, you can expect picture rounds, sculpture challenges, musical questions and all round fun! Prizes given to the winners (and losers!) including 'best dressed' for anyone who fancies dressing up as their film hero! No need to book - just turn up!

Picnic & Games (12:30pm - Meet @ St Andrew's House Entrance)

Fancy a casual lunch with some friendly NUA students as well as a few games in the park? Then this event is for you! Explore the Cathedral Grounds, enjoy a picnic lunch and join in some garden games too. If you can please bring some food to share with the group but all other equipment will be provided. 

Friday 27th September

Basketball Taster (4:30pm - 5:30pm @ Wensum Sports Centre)

Interested in Basketball but never played before? Then join NUASU Basketball Society and learn some basic moves, shoot some hoops and play a short match! No need to book, just turn up - it's free to play! Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time to get set up and ready. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for physical activity. Stay fit, make friends and get involved in this fab society; experienced players are also welcome!
