CANDIDATE PACK

If you are interested in the roles of SU President or SU Vice President download this pack. It is full of information on the elections, the Students' Union and both jobs.

NOMINATION FORM

To nominate yourself as either SU President or SU Vice President, complete the Nomination Form and return it to Sara Nicholls (s.nicholls@nua.ac.uk) before 10am on Monday 27th February. Candidates must also have a Proposer and Seconder detailed on their Nomination Form.

SU president manifesto template

The manifesto is the document that states the priorities of a candidate. It forms the basis of a candidate's campaign, and voters are encouraged to read the manifesto of all candidates before casting their votes. This must be sent to Sara for approval before 12pm on Thursday 2nd March.

The manifesto is the document that states the priorities of a candidate. It forms the basis of a candidate's campaign, and voters are encouraged to read the manifesto of all candidates before casting their votes. This must be sent to Sara for approval before 12pm on Thursday 2nd March.

campaign material inventory

Candidates are encouraged to create campaign material to help promote their manifesto. Campaigning in the 2023 elections will be online only, which means all campaign material will be virtual and shared online. This document is to be used by all candidates to list all material proposed to be used during the week of voting. All material must be approved by Sara Nicholls. Submit this inventory log alongside all campaign material before 12pm on Thursday 2nd March.

ELECTION complaints process

This document outlines the process of submitting a complaint or issue with the democracy or fairness of the 2023 elections. Students and candidates can get in touch with Sara Nicholls if they have any issues, concerns or questions (big or small) about the elections, up until 1pm on the final day of voting on Friday 10th March
